INTERACTIVE DUETS
CRISTIE FULLER & RACHELLE BRYDEN will be teaching you dynamic duet moves that will get you really dancing *together*, engaging each other and the audience.
You will learn accepted FCBD moves and their duet variations.
Any of them can be used for Tribal or adapted to suit your own style.

CANE & CHOREOGRAPHY
XAEDA OF THE SACRED LOTUS - learn the playful, flirtatious and energetic Raks al Assaya. Xaeda will teach you how to swing your cane with confidence. Starting with technique and moves that will help you enjoy this style of dance, then get set to sweat as you learn a fun and fast paced choreography to the tune of El Salam by Hakim. Full of quick transitions, sharp movements and fancy turns.

Colleen will help you to design and construct a fabulous outfit. Plus, ideas for making your own Tribal bras, skirts and belts.

BOLLYWOOD ROCKS!
with SHAMEELA Come and join in the fun! Shameela is back this year with another exciting workshop sharing one of her unique Bollywood choreographies which she is renowned for. Funky and dynamic Bollywood moves and steps will be taught along with ancient arm and hand gestures (Mudras) expressing the lyrics of the music in a fun and creative way. Shameela will bring all this together for you with bellydance pops, locks and bellyrolls in a short choreography that will have you hooked on this contagious dance style. Notes provided. A fun, lively workshop for all to enjoy.

"ALL THAT JAZZ LATIN BOOTY CAMP"
with SALSA SUE
This workshop will focus on Latin body movement with two Latin routines in Cha-Cha and hot spicy Salsa.
Come along and add some magic to your life with a little Latin spice. In class we will learn some booty shaking moves, some Latin footwork and best of all have lots of fun to some great Latin music. Join me, this fun and upbeat workshop is one class you won’t want to miss.

BEGINNERS ARABIC DRUMS with ALI HIGSON.
This workshop will be an introduction to Arabic drumming and percussion. We will learn some of the most common Middle Eastern rhythms, covering the base line, the full rhythm and some simple solo patterns. We will also cover basic drum technique, and how to produce a range of sounds out of your drum. Please bring a tabla and any other Arabic percussion instrument you wish, such as riq or zills.

FEEL THE PASSION - DANCE FLAMENCO
with ERICA HERBERT
Try the passion and flair of dancing Flamenco. In the workshop you will begin with warm up whilst learning basic Flamenco technique for the upper body, arms and feet. You will also learn different styles of Palmas (clapping). This will be combined with a short choreography --- notes provided.Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes with a solid heel and a full skirt. Males should wear a heeled shoe or boot with comfortable pants.

UNLEASH THE HIDDEN DANCER
Anne Dunston & Sheri Court – Kreish of ‘Eastern Spirit’ Belly Dance
In this Beginners workshop you will be taught basic techniques, basic hip moves, posture, travelling steps and a very simple series of steps put together - choreography.
We will introduce you to a shimmy belt and a basic veil to start you on your journey of
Middle Eastern Dance and beyond. Wear comfortable clothing such as dance pants, fitted track pants, leggings, fitted T-shirts and tank tops.
We need to see what you are doing to ensure correct technique. Please bring water to drink. Notes are provided.

BRAZILIAN SAMBA
with JULIA STORA (SambaFrog)
This dance workshop will have you shaking your tail featherlike a carnival king or queen, to the festive rhythms and infectious, percussive beats of Brazil. No prior dance experience required, find out how to create your own mesmerizing samba movement. Then explore some of the different styles within Brazilian dance, including the theatrical Rio style and the earthy beauty of Afro-Brazilian dance. Finally, cap off the workshop with a fun dance choreography that will sure to impress your friends. Will appeal to anyone who loves to move it to great music. Dress comfortably and bring water as this dance style is energetic.
